ABOUT THE TRAINING

Military training is a chance for QAIRU students to take military training alongside their main studies and to receive the military rank of reserve officer or reserve sergeant. Training runs across 12 military registration specialties — 9 for reserve officers and 3 for reserve sergeants.

It builds patriotism, military honor and responsibility to the homeland, gives the military knowledge and skills needed for service, and develops leadership, courage and discipline.

ADMISSION

How to enroll in the military department

Applications are accepted until 30 September of the year of admission.

  1. Submit an application

    The student submits the application on the prescribed form and the whole set of documents in person.

  2. Pass the selection

    The selection is competitive.

  3. Enrollment

    Students who have completed compulsory military service are enrolled without competition and free of charge, after a medical board.

If you apply online through egov.kz, paper documents are not needed — an electronic application signed with an e-signature is enough.

Required documents

  • Application on the prescribed form
  • ID card — the original and a copy
  • 3×4 cm photographs — 4 pieces
  • Certificate of criminal record — in the form set by order No. 95 of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 27.07.2015
  • A document confirming a sports achievement (Candidate Master of Sport, Master of Sport) — if you have one
  • A certificate that you actually study at QAIRU, signed by the dean of the faculty, stating the faculty and the group
  • A spring folder and two document sleeves to put the personal file together
